Hey, it’s Eric. And I’d like to just take a minute to tell you a little bit of a personal story. So eight years ago or so, I was not in good shape physically or emotionally really about myself, my body.
I was 30 pounds heavier, I had high cholesterol, I didn’t know what to do in the gym or in the kitchen or in the grocery store. And thankfully through a series of happy accidents, I got my you know what together. I discovered CrossFit and then Paleo and then Zone and then macro counting and then a Functional Medicine doctor and food sensitivity testing and hormone testing and advanced cholesterol screenings. And today at nearly 61 I feel like I have the secret and I wish that I would’ve had somebody way back then that could have short circuited that for me. And so what I want to ask you is, could that have been you? Could that be you now for somebody like me who’s, you know, eight years away from maybe discovering that secret on their own and maybe not. I would, you know, stop short of saying it’s your responsibility.
But I would definitely say that it’s your right. It is your right as a food brand to tell people, “Look, here’s what you can do and here’s how you can save yourself.” And I think through doing that, your consumers will be loyal to you. They will love you, they will talk about you, and they will never forget you because you will have been the brand and the people within that brand that helped them turn their lives around, not through a “buy this” short term nonsense kind of a thing, but through a system, a program, an ongoing conversation.
So I don’t know, think about that. See if it makes sense for you. It’s grist for the mill, right? And that’s it for today. So be digestible as always. And thank you so much for watching and listening. Bye.
